The project was to design and developed an autonomous mobile robotic arm with obstacle avoidance control.
Pick and Place Miniature Crane Robot
Designed and Fabricated in 2009
Got 4th position in Transporter Robotics Competition held at NIT Calicut, Kerala.
The load lifting capacity was 300 gram
The lifting height was 12 cm.
Manually Controlled Basket Ball Robot
Designed and Fabricated in Feb. 2009
Accomplished 3rd position in basket ball robotics competition held at Cochin University College of Engineering, Kuttanad, Alleppey, Kerala
The best thing about the robot was the mechanism it captured and kept hold of the ball in its small chamber. It was 2 wheel driven bot, with two more motors for running the arm mechanism.
