Mechanical Design & Fabrication of Autonomous Robot

Description:

The goal of the project was to fabricate an autonomous mobile robot with 3 degree of freedom able to pick an irregular shape object. The target and initial locations and the location of obstacle having given, it would reach target avoiding obstacle.

Role: Designing and Fabrication of the Robot Duration: June 2011 – April 2012.

Analysis of an aircraft wing in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Description:

Project included modeling, discretisation and simulation of aircraft wing and determining lift values for subsonic and supersonic airflow speeds

Description: The seminar presentation was on “Follow the Gap Method”, a real time path planning algorithm for an autonomous mobile robot/vehicle for obstacle avoidance.
